It's Dr. Seuss' Birthday Month
We've decorated our schoolhouse from top to bottom, bedroom doors and all! Dr. Seuss makes it easy to incorporate the love of learning while reading 30 books in 30 days. Sea loves to read. It's something both girls have in common. Since their birth they have loved listening to read alouds, and you can usually find them tucked into a corner with a book in hand.
This month Sea is encouraged to journal her discoveries in her very own book! She will read one book a day, and then draw a photo about her chosen author and story. She will continue using her imagination, by creating an extended version of the story.
At the end of the month, she will not only have reached her goal of 30 books in 30 days; she will have also created a habit of envisioning her goals and making sure every day's choices lead her to her final destination!
