Who's in the Kitchen? Sea!

My newest mommy goal has been to SLOW DOWN!

It's funny how slowing down actually speeds up somethings in life. Today we went for a walk with a friend, completed school work, cleaned the house, did a few loads of laundry, rearranged both girls' closets, folded clothes together, picked dinner from the garden, sat on the garden bench and rocked, picked two chairs to sunbathe in - while Sea brought two large bowls of cold water for us to rest our hot feet in, cooked dinner and ate before 5 pm, and visited a neighbor to let them know their garage door was open....now I'm blogging and everyone is resting.

Somehow, I do not get half of this day completed when I'm rushing from here to there, checking off my to-do list or chatting away on the phone. Slowing down for our family has increased our FAMILY TIME. I challenge you to SLOW DOWN. You might end up LOVING the results, too!

**The photos come only after I decided we no longer needed to clean another room, but needed to stop and make dinner together! Sea was excited to make dinner for the entire family by herself (with some of mommy's help).**

Please excuse Sea's large dress. She likes to dress up in her larger dresses. I have a tendency to purchase two identical outfits *if I find them for a great deal*. However, she has started to wear them inside the house. I've given up with trying to convince her she's just too small for them right now.
